Pro golfer Scott Verplank wanted to ease his grueling travel schedule and spend more time with his family. But mindful of the ups and downs that can affect a tour player’s income, he was concerned about the cost of private air travel. We designed a program that enabled Scott to buy a fractional share together with fellow pro Bob Tway, who had similar concerns — achieving both their goals while minimizing their financial risk.
