In an interview with Entrepreneur, Shaircraft CEO, James Butler, comments on the unpredictable evolution of the private air travel industry.
Butler explains that the inconvenience of commercial travel, coupled with a wider range of private options available, has “attracted more people into private air travel.”
And while the economy has taken a huge toll on private air travel (25% fewer flights in November 2008 than in November 2007), Butler believes that private air travel will rebound. “It’s not that people don’t love the service,” he says, “It’s how much they can afford.”
