A recent article for Forbes takes an in depth look at  at Directional Aviation, the parent company of Flexjet, Flight Options and Sentient Jet.

For over twenty years, Shaircraft CEO, James Butler, has negotiated private jet deals with companies in the Directional Aviation family. In the inevitable ups and downs of the private aviation market, Butler has negotiated new contractshelped private flyers renegotiate existing contracts and challenged low repurchase offers for fractional owners selling back their shares.  Having long negotiated on behalf of Shaircraft clients with jet companies like FlexJet, Flight Options and Sentient, Butler has watched them evolve and reinvent themselves many times over.

Asked whether Flexjet has changed since being aquired by Directional Aviation, Butler responds, “Although some questioned the future of Flexjet after it was purchased by Directional Aviation, so far it appears to be operating true to its Bombardier roots and serves as an important counterweight to the industry Goliath, Netjets.”

One thing is certain, Butler and Shaircraft remain committed to making sure that, regardless of the provider, our clients get the best deal.
